Privacy Policy

Effective 21 October 2026

TPR Apps (ABN 55 623 845 262, "we", "us") builds websites and apps for businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We aim to follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

When you contact us or become a client, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, business address and ABN.

To deliver your project, we may also collect your logo, photos, wording, and access to your existing website, hosting or app store accounts.

When you pay us, payments are processed by our payment provider. We don't see or store your full card details.

When you visit our website, our hosting provider may record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We don't use advertising cookies.

2. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you, for example through our contact form, by email, on calls, or when you accept a quote. If you'd rather not give us certain details, we may not be able to provide our services.

3. Why we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, build, launch and support your website or app, send invoices and take payments, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

We only send you marketing if you've agreed to it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information.

We share it only with the services we use to run our business and deliver your project. These include website hosting, email, payment processing, code storage, design and development software (including AI-assisted tools), and Apple and Google when we publish your app.

Some of these providers store information overseas, mainly in the United States. We choose reputable providers and only share what is needed.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

5. Your customers' information

While we build or maintain your website or app, we may be able to see personal information about your own customers, for example in a database or form submissions.

We only access it when we need to for your project, we keep it confidential, and we never use it for any other purpose. Your business stays responsible for how that information is collected and used, including having your own privacy policy.

6. Keeping it safe

We store information with secure, reputable providers, use strong passwords and two-factor sign-in where available, and limit access to what is needed.

Logins you share with us for a project are stored securely and handed back or deleted once your project is handed over.

If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you, and we will tell the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

We keep client records for as long as we need them for your project and support, and for as long as tax law requires (usually 5 years). After that, we delete or de-identify them.

8. Automated decisions

We don't use computer programs to make decisions about you that significantly affect your rights or interests.

9. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time by emailing projects@tprapps.com. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please email projects@tprapps.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website.
